Waterfall offers healing home concerts in between private guided tours on Saturdays. In collaboration with Korea Music Foundation (president, Kyunghee Kim), the music salon will host some of the most prestigious musicians in New York City to present a spring of hope and a spark of light to all the visitors and open opportunities for musicians to “be the light”. Reserve our Private Guided Tours and stay longer after the tour to enjoy the Healing Music Salon.

A Swiss composer Joseph Lauber (1864-1952) has composed more than 200 works including an opera, 6 symphonies, 2 piano concertos, 2 violin concertos and numerous chamber music works. With a flavor of Antiquated french festivals, in the 4 movements of 4 Danses Medievales, includes the 4 movements with distinct medieval and renaissance dances.

Nino Rota (1911-1979) was an Italian composer, pianist and conductor. He was best well known for composing music for the film The Godfather, also for other films of important directors such as Fellini, Visconti, and Zefirelli. The Sonata for flute and harp, written in 1973, consists of 3 movements: Allegro molto moderato, Andante sostenuto, and Allegro festoso.


Gloria Gyu Young Huh, flute
Flutist Gloria Huh is an avid chamber musician and a soloist. As a founding member of Duo Pathos, a flute and piano ensemble, she gave a debut recital at Carnegie Weill Recital Hall, New York, USA.  She has performed as a soloist with the National Academy Orchestra of Canada, Mexico City Chamber Ensemble, Chamber Orchestra of University of State of Mexico, Teotihuacan Brass Ensemble, Ars Musik Orquesta, and Yucatan Youth Orchestra of Mexico. She has performed in numerous cities throughout Canada, USA, England, and Mexico. Also with ensemble Music From Above, she has performed in Argentina, Paraguay, Peru, Guatemala, Turkey, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

She has won numerous prizes in competitions including first prize in Canadian Music Competition, and a second prize in Young Artist Competition of National Flute Association, USA. She was invited to participate in the Young Artist Programme at the National Arts Centre of Canada under the direction of Pinchas Zukerman. She has also participated in Banff masterclass programme, Domaine Forget Festival, National Youth Orchestra of Canada, and National Academy Orchestra of Canada. She has performed in masterclasses given by world renowned flutists such as Sir James Galway, William Bennett, Maxence Larrieu, Susan Hoeppner, Jonathan Snowden, and Mathieu Dufour.   

She completed her Bachelor of Music degree at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada, Master of Music degree at The Juilliard School, New York, USA, and Master of Arts at the Royal Academy of Music, London, England.   Her teachers include Lorna McGhee, Carol Wincenc, Camille Churchfield, and Kate Hill.

Huh currently holds a second and assistant principal flute position at the State of Mexico Orchestra.

Christian Topp, harp
Born in Germany in 1973. He started his harp studies at the age of 9 in Basel, Switzerland. From 1991 to 1993 he continued his musical training at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik München with Prof. Helga Storck. Subsequently, he participated in the World Harp Congress in Copenhagen. From 1993 to 1998 he continued his musical training in London at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Prof. David Watkins, where he received the Bachelor of Music and the Concert Recital Diploma. During this period he made several recordings for BBC Radio 2 and Radio 3. In 2000 he participated in the Bayerischer Rundfunk Orchesterakademie directed by M. Rostropovich. He was part of the Orchester des Pfalztheaters Kaiserslautern as principal harpist and of the Neue Lausitzer Philharmonie/Theater Görlitz from 2001 to 2005. Together with Prof. Henner Eppel, he recorded the album "Elfenreigen - fairy round dance" with romantic music for flute and harp, which is available at Guildmusic. http://www.guildmusic.com He performed in music festivals in Morelia, Valle de Bravo, San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato and Puebla. Since 2005 he is principal harpist of the Mexico State Symphony Orchestra (OSEM) and since 2017 he teaches harp at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Mexico City, Universidad Panamericana.

Initially, cellist Sung-Won Yang was invited to perform at Oxford University's Holywell Music Room on 28 and 29 April 2020, but it had to be postponed due to lockdown. Fortunately, the same concert, Beethoven's Sonata for Cello and Piano in A Major, op. 69 by Sung-Won Yang accompanied by pianist Taehyung Kim, was performed and recorded live on 25 April 2020 in Tongyeong, South Korea.
